What are we offering to help children learn to read?

To address this important topic, Silly Bus is offering the Ready, Set, Read! educational seminar for parents of preschool children. In this seminar, parents learn the key concepts of early reading development and how to prepare their child to read.

What are the benefits?

The seminar provides parents the vital tools needed to help their children learn to read and to help keep them at the head of the class. Seminars are conducted by education professionals that have developed an industry leading approach to preparing and teaching preschoolers the foundation to reading. Who is teaching the class? The Ready, Set, Read class is a reading seminar for parents. The class is being taught by Kim Gorenflo. Kim was the recipient of the prestigious Gilman Award in 2001. Kim has a Bs in Early Education (NK-4) and a Masters in Reading Specialization (NK-12). In addition, Kim has a Post Graduate Degree in Administration and Supervision. Kim has 15 years of classroom experience in grades K-2 in the Virginia State School System. Most importantly she is the mother of two preschool students.
