The Sun will rise in the morning eastern sky
And shed its light upon us all
The sun will float high above and overhead
And warm the water, air, and land
Oh, the Earth revolves around the Sun
So, Do you and I
Oh, the Moon revolves around the Earth
In the sky
The Sun will fall in the evening western sky
And night will fall across the land
The Earth will cool from the time when the Sun
will hide
Until the early morning light
Oh, the Earth revolves around the Sun
So, Do you and I
Oh, the Moon revolves around the Earth
In the sky
Catch the ball, throw it back, having lots of fun
Dribble quick with both hands, and do it on the run
Moving fast, moving slow, moving all the time
It's so fun to exercise with these friends of mine
Jumping up, bending down, moving side to side, and
spinning all around
Exercising, being active, stepping to the sound
Jumping up and bending down
Let's all play a game together, physical and fun
Throw the big red bouncing ball to each and everyone
Play real hard, and try our best, and follow all the rules
Practice our good sportsmanship with our friends at school
Jumping up, bending down, moving side to side, and
spinning all around
Exercising, being active, stepping to the sound
Jumping up and bending down
Lift your knees up to the beat, moving with the sound
Stretch real high to reach the sky, bend down and
touch the ground
Taking time to exercise helps us stay in shape
Playing games and being active each and every day
Jumping up, bending down, moving side to side, and
spinning all around
Exercising, being active, stepping to the sound
Jumping up and bending down
Hey farmer Joe, I need a red rose for the girl next
door with the curls and the bows
Tell me all I need to know to plant the seed and watch it grow
Well my boy, you need the right seed -
peach pits won't make an apple tree
Once you have those rose bush seeds, you need a
spade and a compost heap
You plant the seeds and the roots set hold, absorbing
the water and the nutrients
The stems break through the top soil and the
blossoms bloom
You plant the seeds and the roots set hold, absorbing
the water and the nutrients
The stems break through and the leaves spread out
in the sun's warm glow
Once it sprouts the pedals soon will show - you
water it and that miracle grows
Just like you boy it needs its food and sunlight
for that healthy glow
You plant the seeds and the roots set hold, absorbing
the water and the nutrients
The stems break through the top soil and the
blossoms bloom
You plant the seeds and the roots set hold, absorbing
the water and the nutrients
The stems break through and the leaves spread out in the
sun's warm glow
But once the rose bud starts to bloom, don't grab
too quick
Cause it's got thorns, cause it's got thorns
You plant the seeds and the roots set hold, absorbing
the water and the nutrients
The stems break through the top soil and the
blossoms bloom
You plant the seeds and the roots set hold, absorbing
the water and the nutrients
The stems break through and the leaves spread out in the
sun's warm glow
My teacher gave me three words to alphabetize
The words were Cat, Ant, and Ball
They were right before my eyes
I read the first letter of each, they were C, A, and B
So I sang a song to myself of the ABC's
And noticed that A comes before B which comes before C
So I changed the order to Ant, Ball, and Cat
And now they were alphabetized to me
And I can alphabetize
And I've got alphabet eyes
My teacher gave me three more words to alphabetize
The words were Dog, Mouse, and House
They were right before my eyes
I read the first letter of each, they were D, M and H
So I sang a song to myself of the ABC's
And noticed that D comes before H which comes before M
So I changed the order to Dog, House, and Mouse
Now they were alphabetized again
And I can alphabetize
And I've got alphabet eyes

Some people and events from long ago
Old places and stories of people we should know
Like Christopher Columbus who sailed the ocean blue
Discovered America a land for me and you
It's my story, it's our History
Like old George Washington who was a farming man
Father of our country, first President of our great land
Like Benjamin Franklin flew a key on a kite
Discovered electricity with a lightening strike
It's my story, it's our History
George Washington Carver studied science and plants
Sweet potatoes, peanuts, and soybeans -
their uses he enhanced
It's my story, it's our History
It's my story, it's our History
I draw all day and I paint all night
Painting pictures makes me feel all right
Mine looks different and yours does too
Looking at your picture helps me learn about you
Three basic colors red, yellow, and blue
Mix two together, you get something new
A red lady bug and a bright yellow sun
Blue sky above until the day is done
Well, having fun painting pictures
Well, any color I can choose
It's all made from just three, red and yellow
But my favorite is the blues
A big yellow pencil can draw a straight line
Zig zag, spiral - both will look just fine
A square, rectangle, and a circle too
A big triangle and I'll paint it blue
Well, having fun painting pictures
Well, any color I can choose
It's all made from just three, red and yellow
But my favorite is the blues
Some red polka dots and some bright blue stripes
Something that's repeated makes a pattern that's right
Something that feels different is the texture too
Like some rough sand paper or leaf that's smooth
Well, having fun painting pictures
Well, any color I can choose
Are all made from just three, red and yellow
But my favorite is the blues
How can I run without my pride, my brothers and my sisters by my side
I am the one responsible for honesty and truth to
all my friends
If you fly, floating like an eagle on the wind
I look at you and I can see a person who is different than me
United by our common pride, our common thread
Americans are we
If you fly, floating like an eagle on the wind
If you fly, the flag of America again
Diversity in our families is what will only make us all grow strong
The customs and traditions are what will only make it all go around
If you fly, floating like an eagle on the wind
If you fly, the flag of America again
One syllable, two, three syllable words
A syllable is the coolest thing I've ever heard
And it's a unit of speech, the sounds make up words
A syllable is the coolest thing I've ever heard
A Cat, Dog, and a Mouse, a Horse, and Bird
It takes one syllable to make up each word
And it's a unit of speech, the sounds make up words
A syllable is the coolest thing I've ever heard
Yellow, Purple, and Orange it takes two syllables
to make up each of these words
Octopus, Crocodile, and a Dinosaur, it takes three
syllables to make up each of these words
One syllable, two, three syllable words
A syllable is the coolest thing I've ever heard
And it's a unit of speech, the sounds make up words
A syllable is the coolest thing I've ever heard
It was about time to go to bed
I went upstairs and Momma said
You'd better brush your teeth
You need strong teeth to eat
And next we're going to talk about how you sleep
A Healthy Dose
A Healthy Dose
A Healthy Dose of good advice
Laid down in my bed to get some rest
I hadn't slept a bit for a week
My Momma said no sleep will make you weak
So shut your eyes and give your body strength
A Healthy Dose
A Healthy Dose
A Healthy Dose of good advice
I woke up to start my day
Dad told me to eat before I'm on my way
He used big words like nutrition
As healthy foods will keep my bones in good condition
A Healthy Dose
A Healthy Dose
A Healthy Dose of good advice
Geometry is easy, you see it everywhere
Just look around and you will see triangles,
circles, and squares
And if you want to draw a circle, you can trace the moon
Or throw a fun filled party, and check out the shape of balloons
Mathematics, statistics, measurement, geometry
It's all just numbers, comparison, and shapes to me
Mathematics, statistics, measurement, geometry
It's all just numbers, comparison, and shapes to me
Statistics is easy, it'll make you laugh
Just look around and you will see all sorts of data and graphs
And as a kid my Mom would measure my height and
mark it on the wall
Well, that's a form of statistics showing over time
I'd grown tall
Mathematics, statistics, measurement, geometry
It's all just numbers, comparison, and shapes to me
Mathematics, statistics, measurement, geometry
It's all just numbers, comparison, and shapes to me
